Dishing Google AdSense Optimization Tips: "My boy sneaky Pete has the skinny on some slick tricks for optimizing your Google AdSense revenue. It's funny to me because by Google offering up such information it's going to do two good things.
(1) Advertisers will get higher click thru rates and make more money from Google's AdWords program.
(2) Publishers will make more money because more ads are being clicked on AdSense publisher sites.
In the business world that's what we call a win-win situation. Win for the advertiser and a win for the publisher. So now Google's making everybody's life easier. Especially bloggers with good traffic currently displaying AdSense ads"

We starting to fullfil our promise to this community regarding to our post on NukeCops about Optimising Adsense on Nuke Sites (or the copy of Make Money, Adsense Loves Nuke Sites! here).
Before we proceed, we'd like to inform you that this material is not any kind of guidance or manual officially connected to the Apache's Mod Rewrite nor The Google's Adsense. We can say that this is just a bunch of tips and tricks purely based on our empirical experiences and observations. This two activity are surely done on a very short time since the Google's Adsense it self and our experiences with it until now are just like the experiences of an infant baby: not talk much yet but absolutely cute and has so many fun. This is means that everything here could end up immature, premature or even break up some rules. But surely, we hope this can helps everybody in anyway.
And as a cute nice baby, we just do not have any responsibility to the world. Ha... ha...
This material can be splitted into three parts:
Make your site more friendly to search engines
Signing up to the Google Adsense and optimising the use of it
Leveraging your revenue from the Google Adsense"

Googles Own AdSense Tips
Googles Own AdSense Tips: "Google is at least as interested as you are in having your ads perform well on your site. And they've gone to some work to provide the information you need to optimize your AdSense.
What's fascinating to me is that apparently not everyone bothers to read their tips. And even some that do, fail to apply it.
That said, you need to be aware that simply using their tips doesn't guarantee successful ads and decent CTR (Click Through Rate). How many times have you heard this? You have to test. You have to try alternatives and see what really works best for you, on your pages, with your content and your visitors. Test, test, test some more. Track your results, analyze them, try variations. Too many of us don't test. We hear the mantra, but we don't do the work.
First, let's see if we can get an idea about location. (The graphic is included in the article on my site or you can take a look at it at the Google link included below) Generally, above the fold, at the top center of your content, below top navigation is the hottest location. Not immediately below which is good but not quite as hot. In a left sidebar, to the immediate left of primary content or below the primary content are also good. Most other locations are generally cooler."

Tim Yang�s Geek Blog � Google AdSense Optimization Webinar: "A few weeks ago, the Optimization Team for AdSense ran an adsense webinar conference call for a few participants on the topic of optimization of adsense for maximum revenue. The tips they shared were from studies they did that allowed them to make some general observations. They�ve released the transcript and I�ll excerpt and organise the main points they spoke about. But you still ought to read the transcript because the team had lots of anecdotes of how slight changes in ad optimization brought about vastly improved ad revenue. There is also a really insightful Q and A at the end - especially the answer to the concern that someone had that the ads may be so attractive that people would click out of the site and perhaps never return."
